World Book Day Competition

The UNESCO site explains that 23 April is a symbolic date for world literature, since 23 April 1616 was the date of death of Shakespeare and 23 April is also the birth or death date of other prominent authors.

World Book Day is a day of celebrating books and reading.  It seems a good time to run a competition:

Win an Exclusive Books voucher and a batch of Ms Stephens' famous chocolate brownies!

Post name suggestions for the library pink pig by way of a comment to this site or into the Competition Box at the Issue Desk in the library.  The competition runs until close of school on 10 May 2013.  Members of the English Department will choose the cleverest, most appropriate name for the library pig.

    1. Well done, Zulfa. My own suggestion for completing the slogan "In books I find..." came nowhere! RST
