Last year, Samantha Hayward (Grade 11) had a short story chosen by Jeffrey Archer as one of four final pieces of writing in a Cape Times competition. This year she entered the Random House Struik James Patterson Short Story Competition. The judges were very impressed with her story and she won R5000 worth of books for the Herschel Library. We had a delivery of 33 books which include some of those depicted below. Well done, Samantha and thank you for this wonderful contribution!! RST
