Thank you, Matric library monitors, for the loyal manner in which you have served the school community. Ruth Amoore started as a monitor in 2009; Nabeela Brey (who became our team leader this year), Ashia Toorabally and Ilhaam Esack in 2010; Zulfa Arendse in 2011 and Erin Du Plooy and Olivia Wimberley in 2012.
We, the school community and library staff in particular, wish you a happy last week of school, including Prize-giving and Valedictory services and confidence and calm during your exams. We know you will do well. We are now the spectators, cheering as you run the "race" for which you have been preparing (acknowledgement to Rhodes English lecturer and tutor Arthur Morgan).
